Intereps

Intereps introduced Chinese infrastructure development companies with the governments of Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Montenegro. The Chinese infrastructure companies in question were China Communications and Construction Company (CCCC), China Railway Signal & Communication Company (CRSC) and China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC). The two sides signed partnership agreements.

Intereps brought the infrastructure development companies into contact with the governments for talks on the improvement of Serbia’s current highway from the northern border until the Southern border. The two sides also agreed on building a new highway from the eastern until the western border of Serbia wih the object to improve transportation time between Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and N. Macedonia.

The projects were named Corridor 10 and Corridor 11. Within the overall project, the two sides also agreed to build more than 80 new bridges, highway junctions, and railway junctions as well also to rehabilitate the old railway lines of the three countries.
